Job Description

This is a Tier 3 level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and the Windows server operating systems.

You will work closely with our team of Senior Engineers and infrastructure group to maintain, update, and introduce new functionality to the existing Microsoft Exchange / Office 365 environment.

You will also assist in supporting the Windows server environment. Other server / storage infrastructure projects will be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance with troubleshooting mail related issues including missing emails, recovering email, missing updates to the Global Address Book, all other Outlook /
Exchange related problems

Suggest improvements to environment to raise reliability and availability of our Exchange environment

Assist with applying security patches to our Exchange environment

Provide support for our spam filters

Support Office 365 users & Hybrid Exchange Server Configuration

Configuration and support of Microsoft ADFS

Configure and issue trusted certificates

Provide advanced level support for help desk tickets related to server technology

Provide operating system support for our existing Windows servers

Recommend best practices and improvements to our existing environment

Develop standards and documentation of current and new processes which adhere to best practices

Must be available on-site during normal business hours

Evening and weekend work may be required to perform system maintenance or upgrades

Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/ products

Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts

Perform related duties as required

Coordinate and Execute Client on-boarding initiatives and Customer related projects through both individual efforts and teamwork

Contributes to team effort by managing interpersonal relationships in a positive and effective manner accomplishing positive results through cooperative efforts with all departments; and contributing to the achievement of an ethical work environment

Qualifications

10 Years installing and administering Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2013/2016/365 with at least 2 of those years in an Exchange 2010+ environment with a minimum of 1000 users

4-year degree or equivalent work experience

5 Years Microsoft Active Directory Administration with experience in installing / maintaining Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 / 2012 R2/2016

Experience in configuration, managing all aspects of Office 365

Demonstrated experience in configuring and maintaining Microsoft ADFS

Certifications: ITIL, Cisco CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, and VMware are a plus

SQL server experience is a plus

Strong knowledge of computer/storage/network products/protocols in LAN/WAN environments

Strong verbal/written communication skills

VMware experience required

Must interact well in a team environment, and possess an above average ability to intercept, analyze, and resolve technical issues

Self-starter, highly organized and able to work with minimum supervision

Adept at troubleshooting and able to deal effectively in a fast-paced environment

Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting a highly available Microsoft
Exchange 2013 multi-site environment utilizing multiple DAGs across a WAN

Experience with Disaster Recovery planning to maintain a highly available Exchange
Environment

Experience supporting a 1000 mailbox Exchange

Experience with DNS, DHCP, WINS, Active Directory Group Policy
