Job Description

PRODUCT OWNER

A growing financial organization is actively looking for a seasoned, highly versatile and innovative Product Owner to join their team.

As a Product Owner, you will be leading the technology platform that powers the organization's payments.

This role requires you to be hands on, creative and will give an exposure to the company's global payment solutions.

This role is highly visible, and you will be working closely with the Business Analysts as well as giving presentations to C-level executives regularly.

The Product Owner role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment, where creativity, collaboration, and strategic thinking are the norm.

The successful candidate will be a problem solver, results focused, detail oriented, and process disciplined.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and prioritize work/backlog, collaborating and representing Business stakeholders for developing a User Interface.

Bridge business users and the technology organizations.

Lead collaborations and discussions among cross-functional teams for effective solution-building or issue-resolutions.

Develop partnership relationships with Technical and Operational Teams and maintain working rapport with others, leveraging these relationships to meet common project milestones & goals.

Provide cross functional knowledge of Technical infrastructures, Application development and Payment Services industry.

Define and document product requirements, user stories and epics.

Review product performance and provide a continuous improvement path though leveraging industry standard tools and capabilities as well as building new ones.

Walkthrough product vision and specification with engineering and architecture – review the technical solution.

Work closely with engineering, architecture and design teams throughout the Agile software development lifecycle – be able to resolve open issues, answer product questions and guide the engineering and development teams to building the right products.

Partner with Partner ops & compliance teams to ensure the solutions we put out are compliant with relevant regional regulations and legal and privacy guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years' experience working in product ownership/management

Bachelor's Degree (preferably in a technology related discipline) or the equivalent work experience

Knowledge of the Payment Services, including Operational and Technical aspects highly desired. Financial working experience is required.

Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team.

Proficient in Agile methodology, including backlog grooming, interactive engagement with Scrum Master, SMEs and other Product Owners
