Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join them in their Newark, Delaware office.

You will:

- Communicate with stakeholders

- Work with Scrum Masters, business, product owners, etc, in an Agile environment

- Track and plan projects from start to finish

- Deliver 15 projects a quarter, handling 2-3 projects at any given time

- Lead coordinated release efforts from release scope planning through post deployment

- Guide release program to transform release management planning and execution championing efficiencies, controls and quality release management procedures.

- Work with release leads across the firm to provide key release information on release status, logistics, and execution.

- Partner to mitigate any release risks throughout timeline.

- Submits all required documents to central release management team

- Assures release follows the defined release and deployment processes

- Leads release review sessions and holds weekly release status meetings.

- Maintain internally developed reporting tools

Necessary skills:

- Project Task Estimation

- Resource Scheduling

- Risk and Issue Management

- Waterfall and Agile methods experience

- Work breakdown and critical path method

- Stakeholder Management

- Critical Thinking (anticipates problems and establishes methods to mitigate project/program risks)

- Benefits Management

- Budget/Financial Management including Business Case completion

- Executive communications for senior management

Preferred skills:

- Background working with JIRA, Clarity, or similar tools

- Experience with Financial Services
