Accounting Manager

Plano, TX

Fast-paced global company is searching for an Accounting Manager immediately.

Responsibilities

Ensure the preparation and delivery of financial reports and budget

Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for supported entities

Develop and maintain internal controls

Assist with filing of tax returns, statutory accounts and other related matters

Review and interpret financials, understand trends and KPIs making necessary business recommendations

Train, mentor and coach accounting staff

Ensure the completion of month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting

Conduct and assist in accounting projects

Ad hoc reports

Requirements

5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including managing a team

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, CPA preferred

Major ERP experience, advanced Excel

Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation

Display ability to self-manage and work in a collaborative environment

Interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
