Job Description
Software Developer
The Software Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing and maintaining the systems supported by team he / she joins.
Responsibilities:
System Development: participate in full project lifecycle in developing/enhancing new/ existing applications/demonstrate Application Lifecycle Management Practices
Assist in scope definition, planning and tracking of the project
System design/specification
Setup & system environment configuration
Develop application
Perform agile testing - create and execute test scripts
Assist in the development of technology roadmaps to evolve the API
UAT support
Issue resolution
Migration plan
Production release preparation & support
Project Management
Project schedule / status control
Coordination with user departments, other AITD units and teams and vendors
Create and maintain project documentation
System Support
Respond to production troubles
Address potential issues
User Support
Respond to user inquiries
Address problems raised by users
Documentation: create and maintain documents such as system environment diagram, system specification/design, IF document, operations manual, etc.
Skills/Experience:
College degree in Computer Science
5+ years of relevant experience
System development & administration skills
DBMS: Oracle is required, MS SQL Server +
Programming: .NET, Shell Programming, Perl scripts+
Ability to design, develop, deploy and support RESTful services
Development & support tools
Toad for Oracle
Version control tools: TFS
Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2013
Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
