Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Design, configure, install, and maintain system hardware and software in a Windows 2012/2016, Active
Directory, and Exchange server environment.

Administer and manage VMware 5.x & 6.x products, including ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, VM Replication,
VMotion, VM Backup and Recovery.

Provision, install, and maintain systems running Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, 2012 R2, and 2016.

Install new software releases, system upgrades, install patches and resolves software related problems.

Coordinate with network engineering, business application, and database administration functions to
ensure availability, reliability, and scalability.

Administer enterprise storage systems and SAN.

Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

Maintain server event logging systems and closely monitor server systems.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

5 years experience in the management of Microsoft Windows Servers.

Extensive experience with VMware/Windows engineer

Exchange or Office 365 experience

Experience working with installation and management of Windows 2003 -2016, SQL Server, Active
Directory and virtual environments

Citrix XenApp in a multi-server environment with knowledge of Zones, Data Collectors, Application
Publishing, Policies and Citrix Printing

Experience with VMWare or competing virtualization technology required

Knowledge of storage system fundamentals (file systems, RAID levels, volume management, etc.) preferred

Experience with various block level technologies such as FC, iSCSI and EMC a plus

Cisco UCS or V-Block experience a plus

Experience with EMC SAN environment is a plus.

Effective verbal and written communications skills.

MCSA or MCSE certifications are a plus.

Strong organizational, people management and leadership skills.
