Accounting Manager

McKinney, TX

Expanding healthcare company is searching for an Accounting Manager to add to their growing team.
Ideal candidate will display well-rounded accounting expertise, progressive management experience and search for ways to implement new processees in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure the preparation and delivery of financial reports and budget

Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for supported entities

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, complying with reporting requirements for
joint ventures and acquisitions

Analyze financial data and financial statements, including preparation of month-end and account reconciliations

Serve as liaison between business partners as needed for audits, reporting and projects

Assist with filing of tax returns, statutory accounts and other related matters

Review and interpret financials, understand trends and KPIs making necessary business recommendations

Train, mentor and coach accounting staff

Conduct and assist in accounting projects

Ad hoc reports

Requirements

5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including managing a team

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, CPA preferred

Major ERP experience, advanced Excel

Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation

Display ability to self-manage and work in a collaborative environment

Interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
