Key aspects to this role are learning and modernizing performance test strategies throughout high-volume critical business flows in the Digital ecosystem.

The resource will be required to be flexible, work with minimum supervision, exercise independent judgment, and prioritize work.

A performance testing background is beneficial, but a capability to develop scripts, automate processes and be creative are critical.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

” BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

” Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming or scripting languages (Java, C#, Javascript, Python…)

” Experience in application performance analysis

” Working proficiency in developmental toolsets

” Utilization of monitoring toolsets such as Dynatrace, Splunk and Wily

” Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

” Skillful communication to partner teams of engineers as well as management

” Working knowledge of Agile principles

” Ability to clearly document key processes and strategies for consumption by agile development teams

” Additional Preferred Experience:

o Proficiency in application performance tuning

o Understanding of cloud-based application configuration and testing

o Expertise in performance tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and BlazeMeter

Performance testing with Blazemeter/JMeter

o 2-4 years hands-on experience in test automation of complex systems using CI/CD tools like
Jenkins/Travis CI/Bamboo, Yarn/NPM, Git, Bitbucket, Ansible/puppet.

o 4-6 years of experience in developing and using automation frameworks like
Selenium/TestComplete/Appium and languages like Java/Ruby/Python/Groovy.

o Familiarity with APIs, Web services, Microservice architecture, Splunk, Dynatrace.

o Strong troubleshooting /problem solving skills.

o Understanding of Performance testing life cycle & best practices is preferred.

o Scripting and test execution using LoadRunner, JMeter/Blazemeter is preferred.
