Job Description

SENIOR DATA ARCHITECT

FULL-TIME

NASHVILLE, TN

ICS is working with one of their growing clients to hire a Data Architect to join their team in Nashville, TN! This person will be the most senior person on the Data side with the organization and be the driver for data development from the ground up!

The ideal candidate will be an experienced technical professional who can assess the environment and be both strategic & hands on to take the company in the right direction!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

10+ years of experience in designing, architecting, and building data warehouses within a Microsoft SQL Server stack

Azure or AWS cloud experience

Able to deliver world class Data Architecture to an enterprise that includes contributing to reference
architecture and implementing best practices, policies and guidelines around Data Warehousing.

Hands-on-experience with Data modeling tool such as (but not limited to) ERWIN and expertize in creating
Logical, Physical and Conceptual data models.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Be able to understand current data context, interpret results of analyses, identify trends and issues, and
develop recommendations to support business objective

Experience working in Agile methodology and facilitating sessions with data warehousing partners
including business, BA (business analyst), BI (Business Intelligence), SOR SMEs (System of Record Subject Matter Experts) and ETL (Extract, Load, and Transform) developers to assess business requirements and deliver design prototypes.

Participate in demand management, forecasting and planning, assessing impact and feasibility, and estimating work effort and duration.
