IT SERVICE DESK CONSULTANT

Plano, TX

Open Ended Contract

We are hiring for a Service Desk Consultant with a passion for technology and delivering excellence to customers, both internal and external.

This is a short term contract (1 to 4+ months) where the Service Desk Consultant will have the opportunity to wear multiple hats, work with new and varying technologies and expand their technical knowledge.

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter who can jump in and immediately add value in a fun, collaborative environment!

What You’ll Do:

Answer, respond, and resolve phone calls and emails from end users requiring technical assistance in a professional and timely manner.

Configure, deploy, and support various computer, networking, phones, mobile devices, audio-video, and other equipment and software related to the end-user computing environment.

Perform software installation and troubleshooting.

Assist with various projects as needed.

Skills/Experience You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field preferred.

2+ years of experience in a Service Desk / Help Desk role

A+, HDI, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, or other equivalent desktop certifications preferred.

High-level of proficiency with Windows 7, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office.

Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills.

Professional communication and customer service skills both written and oral.

Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Ability to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new business software and system environments.

Must be able to lift end user equipment (up to 25 lbs
