Job Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements

Participate in acquisition accounting and integration. Assist with accounting for acquisitions, compiling an opening balance sheet, and completing working capital / earnout calculations

Demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge and ability to research and perform ad-hoc technical accounting analyses

Assist in researching / documenting new GAAP and disclosure matters, including assistance with projects related to implementing and operationalizing new accounting pronouncements

Assist with building best practices and forming the corporate finance structure, implementing policies and procedures that resolve accounting issues and improves work efficiency

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or related field.

At least 2 years of experience out of public accounting with SEC reporting or technical accounting.

CPA is a plus but not required.

Prior experience with implementing policies and procedures

Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
