Information Security Officer/CISO

We are looking for an Information Security Officer to sit on the executive team at a growing company in the Healthcare industry! Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of Company computer systems, networks, and information.

Define strategy, implement processes, take security to the next level.

The ideal individual will identify and define system security requirements by designing computer security architecture and developing detailed cyber security designs.

You will be part of a talented team that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

Must have experience working in a Healthcare organization

Lead the efforts to attain and maintain the company’s certifications e.g. SOC-x and HITRUST.

Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information

Identify and define system security requirements

Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs

Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols

Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks

Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement

Operate vulnerability management and risk management tools.

Conduct company-wide risk analyses and direct remediation plans.

Maintain and enhance the security awareness and training programs

Manage penetration tests and remediation efforts.

Investigate and manage any incidents using forensic techniques.

Other duties and projects as requested by management

Qualifications/Skills:

Expertise in end point and server anti-virus software, host and network-based intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering.

Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods.

Expertise in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures.

Systems administration, supporting multiple platforms and applications.

Endpoint security solutions expertise, including file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention.

AWS and cloud platform as a service (PaaS) security products and processes.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related major.

Demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrate strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Knowledge of technology, network infrastructure & interface requirements associated with software integrations a plus.
