Position Overview: A FinTech company is looking for a Technical Recruiter to temporarily augment our Talent Acquisition team in Manhattan. They are experiencing significant growth of our technology team as they implement Agile and scale to meet on-going client demands. Candidate must have a track record of success with recruiting and hiring software engineers or similar IT professionals. They are looking for someone who understands the importance of their goals and has the drive to make an impact quickly. Role and Responsibilities: Utilize innovative sourcing technologies and strategies to find, connect with and recruit top tech talent Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions) Responsible for the hand-off of applicable candidates to the Recruiting Manager in NY Required Skills: 3+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience Technical sourcing experience, with an understanding of the application of technologies such as Java and AWS Cloud in an enterprise environment Must be able to communicate the Company’s technical requirements to potential applicants Confidence to jump in and move on multiple open requisitions simultaneously Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search) Proven track record sourcing passive candidates Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must possess strong organizational skills, be a strategic thinker and a self-starter
