SENIOR QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER
FULL-TIME POSITION
NASHVILLE, TN
THE POSITION:
ICS is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer, who thrives in fast-paced environments, to join our client’s team in the Nashville, TN area!
This position will serve a key role in the testing of various SaaS-based applications; having extensive knowledge of Selenium, WebDriver, Appium, C# and best practices for automation of testing .
The ideal candidate will be technically sharp and polished professional who will help the team and company scale up to serve more customers and offer new products.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction to determine best method for accomplishing
work and achieving objectives in the automation discipline
Designs, develops and executes automation deliverables
Manages the thoughtful extension of automation tools and framework
Establishes a test data strategy that is supportive of automated testing
Develops reports and deliverables for management and communicates with all levels of stakeholders
Identifies, documents and investigates issues found during testing
Supports and mentors the QA team and organization with regards to test automation
Leads the expansion of core automation testing capabilities to include in-sprint automation, targeted goal of 80% Regression coverage, and CI/CD pipeline
Works closely with analysts to understand workflow and areas of concern to continuously improve regression coverage
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
8+ years of progressive experience in a QA Automation position
Strong expertise with the following technologies:
Selenium Web Driver
Appium
C# automated test scripting
Confidence and seasoned manual testing skills developed from experience
Knowledge in Azure DevOps, JIRA and Agile scrum methodologies
An ability to work effectively based on loosely defined product requirements
Must be able to work in the company’s office in Nashville, TN
Knowledge of state agency licensing and permitting process is a plus
Bachelors degree in CS, CE, MIS or combination of equivalent education/experience
Experience developing innovative principles and ideas
Strong leadership and communication skills
