Job Description

The Senior Web Developer must be a team player who can also work independently and who is passionate about modern programming software and improving software quality.

This individual will be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of web applications.

The Senior Web Developer will work across the entire stack of application development with a strong focus on the client-side.

The successful candidate should have deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5, including a solid foundational understanding of the JavaScript language and modern JavaScript frameworks beyond jQuery.

Responsibilities

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

Integrate data from various back-end services and databases such as Oracle and SQL Server

Create and maintain software documentation

Develop across all layers of application development

Prepare and produce releases of software components

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

8+ years of proven working experience in Web development using HTML5 and CSS

4+ years of experience with React (including recent APIs such as context and hooks)

4+ years of experience with Redux (including idiomatic usage of unidirectional dataflow and memoized selectors)

3+ years of experience with traditional RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL)

3+ years of experience in Web-based Automation Framework Development using jest-puppeteer, cucumber

Experience with Testing tools such as Jest, Enzyme, Chai, React-testing-library

Experience working with APIs and authentication protocols

Experience with Redis and other popular NoSQL technologies

Experience with RESTful API development and integration

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Passion for learning new technologies
