SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEERING MANAGER
FULL-TIME POSTION
PLANO, TX
POSITION:
ICS is looking for a Senior Network Engineering Manager to join our client's team in Plano, TX! You will bring your expertise as a DDI Engineer to this growing team.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage others while also thriving in a hands-on environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
15+ years of experience managing large projects
Strong leadership skills and experience
In-depth knowledge on DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP, and load balancing
In-depth knowledge of how applications in general leverage various DNS, DHCP, NTP, IPAM, and load balancing concepts with ability to provide solutions
Understanding of Core Network technologies, such as Router, switches & network security technologies
Understanding of network-based technologies: can translate customer/business requirements into DNS, DHCP, and IP Address configurations and successfully position with stakeholders
Understanding and ability to manage ever-changing deployment of time line
Working knowledge of the Agile framework
Ability to interact and drive application, networks and other infrastructure teams to bring together SME's to come up with solutions
Firm understanding of IT Service Management processes, program and project management, Scrum and
Agile methodology
Skilled troubleshooting/ problem solving and negotiation skills.
Strong communicator with senior management
Strong analytical, quality management, and organizational skills and comprehensive understanding of team dynamics
Proven ability to create quality documentation, in standard/ or established best practices design and process
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action, and adapt to change
Proven ability to make tough decisions and accept challenging assignments
Info Block is a plus
F5 is a plus
In-depth knowledge and experience working in AWS is required
